Sunday evening was spent gardening and taking about 300 pictures. Gotta love this Canon, all the pictures look so great you are inspired to keep snapping. At one point I was on such a roll and so in love with the pictures I believe I even said I was going to quit my day job. Well, I would if I had one, lol.
Let's look back and admire natures gifts shall we?
The last few tulips had popped up since last time, amazing me yet again with their beauty.

The daffodils were just about finito for this year, but our evil archenemy the slug got to them and made a bunch of holes etc. Grrrrrrr
The lily of the valleys seem to have shot up overnight almost
The first batch of rhubarbs were ready for picking. Mmm, pie in this woman's future... Raparperipiirakka (=rhubarb pie) in Finnish, one of my favorite Finnish words. (Roll your R's when you say it) Lol.
The currants were a-bloom and golden in the evening sun. Humming with bees!
The forget-me-nots were blooming too. I love love love this blue (shocker, I know)!!
We planted another batch of pre-grown potatoes spuds or whatcha-ma-call-its.
My mom divided and transplanted her Bellis Perennis from the base of the roses to the outer edge of the new and improved rosebed.
I spent some time admiring my boots and their fine color, lol
My dad harvested the chives.
I did some bird watching:
Mrs. Pheasant perusing the neighbor's garden. Doing her special camoflage thing...
Birds I don't know the name of but looked so happy to be gardening.
And woody the woodpecker made an appearance at the light pole.
Before we left my husband picked some flowers
And we collected our haul and put it in the trunk.
Since Sunday, it has rained almost most of the day for the past couple days. In essence, this means we are in for a heck of a time weeding the garden. Oh gee. Any volunteers? Haha
Thanks for reading and happy hump day (ya know, Wednesday) or well, whatever is left of it.
