Lilies.

Hellooo!

Things in my neck of the woods...are a bit blah. So I'll keep this post short.
We have been packing. Or trying to anyway. I have decided I'd like to organize our lives (read: get rid of the garbage) as we are packing and not as we are unpacking. So I've spent a lot of time shredding old papers that I hopefully won't need anymore and going through magazines and ripping out the best pictures and recipes. Yup, I have joined pinterest (and am super addicted, yes) but I still kick it old school and glue papers into notebooks and folders. So yes, progress is slow. But there has been some!!

School restarted for me on Wednesday with the lovely subject of our bachelor's thesis. We just found out today that we should have an idea of what we want to write about (for the next year) by the end of the month...which is almost impossible since we aren't even sure of our specialization yet. I'm pushing for psychiatric nursing and I have an idea for my thesis...but the bits in between like which class I should be in, is there room for me in that class, will the teacher accept my idea, which language am I supposed to write it in etc etc (!!) has got me a little bit more than confused and frustrated. Oh well, there is nothing I can do about now, but enjoy my weekend and look for answers on Monday. That and I'd rather not whine about it anymore in this forum. I'll save it for the hubby. :)

What I have been doing is spending time on pinterest. As mentioned before, I'm super addicted.

And I've enjoyed these lilies I've been showing you... Pretty aren't they. In a matter of a day, the bud opened up (rather suddenly I think) and the smell has been wafting through the house. It's a bit of an obnoxious smell, but kind of pleasing too in its own way. If you were wondering, they are from our garden. :)

As for crafting, not much going on there either. But I've been inspired. By pinterest mostly and our impending move to a house in need of crochet love, lol.

Dinner was great last night, shrimp scampi. Mmmm... I'm loving that the "Breakfast King" is venturing into the dinner realm. :)

Also making me happy: clipper's green tea. I've had it at Ikea before, loved it (reminded me of Japan), searched for it in stores and online (if you live in the UK, join their tasting club!) and gave up...then I found it in one of our big supermarkets! I think I'm on a green tea kick and I am going to taste some other brands claiming to be Japanese style. Another great thing about clipper's though, it is fairtrade and organically grown. :)

Thanks for reading! Have a nice weekend!

Oh, and this post's pictures are dedicated to Jilly, every time I see lilies, I think of you. :) "Hi!" if you read this!
