Loving snow! (say WHAT?!)

My secret prayers for a white winter have been answered! YAAY!

I couldn't tell you how thrilled I am.

I can't believe, a self-proclaimed "Florida-girl-for-LIFE", is so happy about the white mess outside. 

It's just so beautiful!

It's been coming down on and off for days now and accumulating on everything. I have sat and stared out the window, watching it drift down in big chunks. I have walked in it when it's come down nicely in finely detailed perfect snowflakes (where was the camera then?!). 

I am finally in love with snow! 

My husband and Koda also love the snow. In this picture below they are knocking the snow off trees and enjoying it fall. :) Simple pleasures. 

And our little Manta loves snow, too. She likes to plow it with her face and she gets a little extra pep in her step when there is freshly fallen snow!

This Koda Bear loves chasing snowballs, jumping through deep bits of snow and yes, eating it. 

It was such weather last night that you couldn't even see a famous Tampere monument, Näsineula!

(It's supposed to be the tower on the right.)

Compare the harbor to late July. This picture was taken from the opposite end of the harbor but you can see Näsineula back there, standing proud.

I really love living here. No matter the season, there is always some beauty to behold.
