I am grateful for...

I know it may seem a bit shallow and immature, but in times of stress, I give each dog and the Kissa-cat biiiiiig hugs, I love on them and then remind myself of all the pretty things I am fortunate enough to have that make me happy.

I am seething with anger and frustration at the complete injustice I feel has been done to my husband and myself. Thus, a post of little happy things. (Thank you blogging world for letting me vent -- and often analyze my own feelings about things!)

The geraniums my mama gave me, cheering up the bedroom window.

Watching Kissa meticulously bathe herself: therapy.

 Sunflowers in the kitchen.

This begonia that is a rather traditional indoor plant here in Finland. It reminds me of the grandmas I grew to love working this summer. And I love the name: enkelin siipi (=angel's wing) english name: begonia corallina

The onion jar I bought that I couldn't really afford, shouldn't have bought because I don't really really need it, but I still wanted. And I still like it.

New way of storing coffee (large mason jar), my flea market find sugar thing and my sugar cube mushroom. Care for a cup?

Large sunflower in a bowl = sunshine in a bowl

The crochet cushion my mom found at a flea market and bought because it was retro and she admired the fine skills someone had. I love that too about flea markets, that you get to purchase something that someone else has made and taken the time to make! However, it makes me sad sometimes to think that maybe these things were gifts and made with love and others just don't appreciate it. Poor undervalued crocheting souls of the world!!

Big bears that sleep next to their new bunny.

Little ones that love a nice rug ;)

Projects with bright colors waiting to happen.

I took a ton more pictures. And I think I'm probably still going to need to share my coping mechanisms as a coping mechanism tomorrow. Or later. We'll see. Either way, I still have a china cabinet full of stuff to share! (Why waste pretty pictures, ya know?)

That's it and thanks for reading!
